These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Best Seller Sync - Auto Update ("the App", "we", "our") as a Shopify merchant. By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, uninstall the App and do not use it.

Plain summary: Use the App fairly and within Shopify's rules. We provide the service as-is and do our best to keep it running. You can cancel any time by uninstalling.

1. The Service

Best Seller Sync - Auto Update is a Shopify embedded app that automatically ranks products within your store's collections based on sales velocity data (units sold, order count, revenue, or Google Analytics 4 engagement metrics). The App reorders products, applies a badge:best-seller tag, and writes ranking data to product metafields under the bsync namespace.

2. Eligibility

You must have an active Shopify store and be authorised to install apps on that store. By accepting these Terms you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to bind yourself or your organisation.

3. Plans and Billing

The App offers three plan tiers:

Paid plans include a 14-day free trial for first-time subscribers. Billing is handled entirely through Shopify's billing system, so charges appear on your Shopify invoice. We never store or process your payment details directly.

Subscriptions renew every 30 days automatically. You may cancel at any time by downgrading to the Free plan from within the App. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods, but you retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing cycle.

If a payment fails, your account enters a 7-day grace period during which paid features remain accessible. If payment is not resolved within 7 days, your plan is automatically downgraded to Free.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing with at least 30 days' notice communicated through the in-app dashboard.

Your use of the App is also governed by Shopify's Terms of Service and API Terms. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Shopify's terms, Shopify's terms take precedence with respect to the Shopify platform.

6. Google Analytics 4 Integration (Pro Plan)

The Pro plan allows you to connect a Google Analytics 4 property via Google OAuth. By connecting GA4 you agree to Google's Terms of Service and confirm that you have the right to access the GA4 property you connect. We use the GA4 Data API solely to fetch aggregated product engagement metrics for ranking purposes. You may disconnect GA4 at any time from the App's GA4 settings page.

7. Intellectual Property

All code, design, content, and trademarks associated with Best Seller Sync - Auto Update are the property of the developer. These Terms do not grant you any intellectual property rights in the App beyond a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your store while these Terms are in effect.

You retain full ownership of your store data (products, orders, collections). We claim no ownership over any data accessed via the Shopify API.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost sales, data loss, or business interruption.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the App developer from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store. Uninstallation immediately revokes the App's access to your Shopify store data.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App immediately and without notice if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if continuing to provide the service would violate applicable law.

Upon termination, your data is deleted per the schedule described in our Privacy Policy. OAuth sessions are deleted immediately; all other data is permanently deleted within 48 hours.

12. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. For significant changes that affect paid features, we will provide at least 14 days' notice via the in-app dashboard. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the in-app dashboard and the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Your continued use of the App after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved by contacting us at support@storeapplab.com. We aim to resolve all disputes within 30 days of being notified.
